David joined Spalding DeDecker in 2018 as the Marketing Manager. He is responsible for the marketing, communication, and proposal development efforts of the company. In addition to strategic business development, he manages branding, advertising, and website development. He will oversee the social media presence, events, and sponsorships, along with marketing planning and training.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the construction and utility industries, working for some of the largest manufacturers of power generation equipment and utility companies where he supported marketing and sales and business development both in North America and internationally. Most recently, David worked as a senior consultant for several US utility companies creating branding and awareness strategies for sustainable energy programs and energy efficiency.
David received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing/Management from Northwood University in Midland, MI and his MBA from Lawrence Technological University.
In his spare time, David is an avid mountain biker supporting local non-motorized trail advocacy. He continues to work on his woodworking skills hoping to complete a pair of stitch and glue wooden kayaks.
